Prompt Section B - Question 6. A water tank is a closed cylinder of radius 1.4 m and height 3 m. It is 80% full. Calculate the water volume in litres and the time needed to empty it through a pipe at 35 litres per second. Use pi=22/7.

Prompt Section B - Question 8. A ship sails 48 km on a bearing of 065 degrees, then 36 km on a bearing of 155 degrees. Find its eastward and northward displacement components, its distance from the start, and the bearing of its final position from the start.

Prompt Section B - Question 12. A loan of ZWL 18,000 is charged compound interest at 9% per annum. Equal payments of ZWL 5,000 are made at the end of each year. Find the balance immediately after the third payment.
